My Astig Fwendz
September 4, 2006Meeting the Two Certified Astig of the Pinoy Big Brother House has made a tremendous turnaround twist in my life.
Not that it made me more Jologs, as what others termed it to be,
but I got to meet two of the most well-admired souls that in my dreams I never knew I would be meeting. And now I'm enjoying being friends with them.
With PBB Season 1 Big Winner, Kumander Nene Tamayo who's incredibly awesome.
*Salute!* Kumander
and with the Great Karateka, Gretchen Malalad, who has a peaceful heart but a warrior spirit!
*Bow!* Karateka
Both never fail to inspire me to live out my dreams..
More than just the friendship you've unselfishly shared…
But it's the inspiration that I would always look up to.
To be your friend…
Requires a lot of understanding and patience…
I get hurt to see friends meddling into something that you know is not good.
It hurts me more to just leave them that way…
without doing anything and be just spectator to what they're doing.
I'd rather take the risk of bringing it out
even at the expense of putting the friendship under siege
and leaving the continuity at someone else's prerogative.
But that's what a friend can do.
That's what I can only do.
And I'm happy to have done something…
It may not be big..
But I know it's noble..
Being a Friend even from a far…
Double for your Trouble
Another one from Gurly-loo..
"If you will keep the right attitude, God will take all your disappointments,
broken dreams, the hearts and pains, and he'll add up all the trouble and sorrow that's been
inflicted on you, and he will pay you back with twice as much, peace, joy, happiness, success and love.
Just trust God and He will give you DOUBLE for your TROUBLE!"
LIFE is a GIFT!
Tired but inspired..
Down but smiling…
It reminded me of Rowell who made me realize that LIFE is really WONDERFUL.
So sad that he was able to remind me of that after he's gone.
The Truth is…
"Truth is..
We hide because we wanna be found,
We walk away to see who follows,
We cry to see who wipes away the tears,
And we let our hearts be broken to see who comes and fix them."
Bar Challenge
September is the month for Barrister!
D day for Lawyers-wanna-be.
I went to DLSU Taft last Sunday to cheer for a friend, Iamie. She's from Cebu. A friend whom I've never met yet… but we're good friends…
Vito Cruz St. was crowded with families, friends, fraternities, sorrorities, students, relatives, faculty of different universities and bands. They have their own gimmicks to show support to barrister.
Got goosebumps when I saw the barristers from different schools all over the Philippines walking bravely as they enter the gates of La Salle to take the Bar Challenge… For how many years of struggling… now they're ready to embark a new phase!
So proud that one of them is my Friend. Though I never got the chance to see her… still I am very proud of her. I asked the band at my back to play "POSIBLE" of Rivermaya. In that way, I know Iamie will know that a Kawal Friend is there to support her…
I saw a tarpauline "Bedan Barrister hit the 100%" hanging on the walls of LRT.
I remember a conversation with my brother and his gf. He told me that his friends promised that they'll be sponsoring huge tarpaulines posted all over the LRT stations. And we all laughed.
Ah iba ang gimik ng Ate Sheggz mo… "Ung train mismo ang may advertisement ng mukha mo"
So lahat ng makakakita sa train, even from a far, will know that you'll be taking the bar exam.. hahaha
I will ask Say Alonzo, his PBB crush eversince, to cheer for her… hahaha
The problem is… after the bar exam… and he fails… he will deny daw that he took the bar.
I said, how about the train… that will be the living proof that you took the challenge.
And we laughed again….
He said.. "iba ka talaga mag-isip, Ate"
Ang sarap ng feeling na lalaban ka ulit… sa bagong hamon ng buhay!
kaya ako.. tuloy ang laban!
At masaya ituh!
By next year, I'll be standing in the same place again, cheering for my brother. Yooohooo!
And we'll all be dancing in the moonlight!
'Ayt!
