Talk about Sheggz’s Wedding?
September 15, 2006

Out of the blue, she reminded me of a guy, let's name him Aquilino, who we suspect will be Sheggz's groom in the near future. Okay, this is due to a sign I once asked from God and [un]fortunately, it's Aquilino who gave me the exact stuff in the most unexpected time of my life. And somehow fits the description of the the most unlikely guy that Raymond, the sixth sense man, gave us.
Matto casually throw this statement…. "Sheggz, planuhin na natin ang kasal mo.." I smiled at her with a big question mark flashed on my face…. planning a wedding with whom? Why so sudden?
She gave me one motiff to which I quickly agreed. It was only Matto who agrees with such motiff.
From the motiff, giveaways, cake, table presentation… we would want to make the theme fits closely to my personality and passion. I get too excited to think of wedding details…. not so much of the groom…
I agree again with Matto when she said that such motiff (which for now I won't reveal yet) speaks of simplicity, elegance but with a certain level of expression that is uniquely Sheggz..
Hehehe
So brace yourself, be sure to attend my wedding. Date and groom still undefinite… you'll surely enjoy it…
;-)
Etymology of Sheggz
even if you're a little cracked.." ;-)
Got this text message from Linette a.k.a. Schizofreeky hehehe.
I replied…
Sheggz: "How did you know about that?
SHEGGZ means a female cracked egg… hehehehe"
Linette : "Owwss.. ahihihi Hangkyut!"
FACT:
Shereen, my real name means "SWEET" in Arabic.
Sheggz means a female egg in someone else's dictionary.
I have a male counterpart, Engr. Edwin Wagan, who is named "EggWin"…
Our highschool Physics teacher, Ate Eva dela Rea, gave that name to me.
I tend to love it as soon as I heard it. Why?
It fits my personality. Cool!
ACTIVITY:
We had an activity that we need to throw an egg from a far, but we have to make sure that it will not crack.
How's that?!?
We need several drumsticks and wrapped it around the egg…
PUNCHLINE:
Mega-kabit naman ako ng drumsticks…
eh hindi ko pa naitatapon ang itlog…
basag na basag na sa kamay ko…. hahahahaha yikes!
Bakit daw gigil na gigil ako sa itlog…
That incident baptized me with the name….
The name… soon to be a legend… hehehehe
Walking the footsteps of the Master
In several months that I have joined Sidekicks, I never thought that fanaticism with Gretchen Malalad, even prior to Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition, has a great impact with the younger ones who aspire to achieve even half of what their idol Karateka has already achieved. And much to my surprise, I am learning a lot from the young at hearts.
Lady Joan Ruiz, Alma Cabasal and Renee Granadino are among the Sidekicks who are greatly influenced and well-motivated with Gretchen.
I remembered one time I've asked Renee on how she knew about Gege. She told me that she is training for karate. So the entire SEA Games in Cebu, our eyes were all set watching Gege on her winning bouts… hehehe
I went to EAC Gym but I failed to see Gege there… I saw Janice Hung, the wushu artist. The roots of admiration is deeply-rooted even before pa.
Alma Cabasal from University of Santo Tomas
In the People's Insider Magazine, Vol. 8 No.4, our very own Alma Cabasal or Alma_Karateka in the forums, is the featured Karateka. Entitled, "Alma Matters" by Theodore P. Jurado.
I was touched with what she said….
"For me, Karate is a lifetime career and even if I'd be working, nandiyan pa rin ang karate. It's a way of life. Gusto kong maramdaman yung feeling nina Ma'am Gege and Ma'am Cherli. Yung feeling…. not only that you represent the country, but also in winning… I want to have that feeling someday…"
I know Gretchen will be doubly happy that a lot of people are inspired to be like her. Not only inspired but making extra effort to achieve what they want. Inspiration alone if not put into action is not at all sensible.
As young as they are, they already have the heart of aspiring champions and nation's pride…"
Gretchen continues to teach karate, despite her hectic schedules, to look for more and more future karateka that will follow her footsteps.
"Gege… rest assured, you have one, two, or three in Sidekicks… tandaan mo yan…. Eh madadagdag pa kami ni Epey… hehehehe "
Bilib ako sa Atletang NoyPi…
Kaya nga di ba… NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!
Watch the Sidekicks on September 17, 2006 at Xavier School Sports Center in San Juan.
Gege will be there to cheer for her fans…. di ba ang galing ?!?
Galing ng Sipa ng Sidekicks!
@ Home with St. Jude
Yesterday, just before I went to Quezon City, I visited St. Jude Parish. This has been my constant destination from the time I was in college and St. Jude had been my reliable intercessor from the time I prayed for college graduation, MCP certification, health of my family, job hunting…. and he never fails to do that… the patron of Hopeless and the Helpless…
I attended a mass led by SVD missionary in Palawan. One of the very few masses that I end up laughing so hard, teary-eyed and whew! relieved…. the water sprinkles lightens the mood. By next week, the mass will be televised na. Galing!
The homily put premiums on the following:
1. Faith on the Cross.
2. Trust on the Divine Providence
3. Unity despite Diversities
He made mention of Filipinos too fascinated with movies, telenovelas… all of which has its own soundtrack.. and even old priests have their own soundtrack…
"Di ba… ako'y tao lang na nadadarang at natutukso rin…" hehehehe grabe ang lakas ng tawanan at palakpakan sa misa…. hangkulit ng pari…. pero I enjoyed listening….
I missed the lighting blue and white candles… that's for career, purity and enlightenment… Eversince, I never lighted for something that pray for love… oo… nahihiya akong pati un hingin no… Andami pang mas nangangailangan ng dasal…. hehehe
I walked with a renewed faith and a smile on my face. God sets me free. ;-)
Never have to say goodbye…
Really had a blast with Mojack.
As usual, he enjoyed singing @ videoke bar with his repertoire… Warrior is a Child, Hanggang, Ikaw Sana, Sana Maulit Muli.. I made a special request: "If You're Not the One"…
While singing, a flower vendor approached us…. holding bouquets of white and peach flowers…. hehehe
I told Mojack… "Timing yung kanta sa Peach Flowers… hehehehe…. siguro naalala ako ng mokong…"
We'll never have to say goodbye again…. only see you later…
Thanks Mojack…. i really enjoyed it!
Feedback on 7 Sexiest Pinay Athletes
Theodore with his bestie, Gege
An excerpt from People's INsider Magazine September 20, 2006 p.45:
Sheggz Nepomuceno, an avid fan of karateka turned showbiz personality Gretchen Malalad, was also thankful for having that list of the hottest hotties in sports.
"I'm so glad that INSIDER has a list of the top 7 sexiest Filipina sports personalities. Hindi lang dapat ang mga artista ang ginagawan ng list, female athletes should have one too," said Sheggz, who is the president of Gege's Sidekicks.
Gretchen has come a long way, indeed, from ABS-CBN 2's Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition — especially now that she has a fan club. Sweet!
