My message to someone else's groom 

You don’t have to worry…
That’s what I’ve always wanted to tell you.
It’s just that I need to take some time now to be okay.
But for sure I will be fine…

Getting married has always been your dream…
Build a good family on a good start.
And I’m happy that it will going to happen soon… in two months.

You don’t have to worry
What I would feel then.
Go on with that event without having to think what I might feel now.

I have nothing in mind but to see you happy
That’s why I intend not to intervene
That’s why I set myself free.

You never knew just how I’ve kept this feeling.
Trying to nurture something that I know will end in the future.
I just want to end it beautifully… because it started so.

Stop the what ifs and the what might have beens…
I owe it to myself… to reveal it and let go of love.

It’s killing me… I don’t want to constantly dwell on things that I really regret.

Marriage License

Nasa ganong sitwasyon ako ng makareceive ako ng text mula sa isang kaibigan na nasa ibang bansa, si Doc Abet.

Tama ba namang tanungin ako kung paano kumuha ng marriage license. Thrice na niya ito natanong, actually.
Hehehe allergic talaga ako sa usaping kasal – kasal…
Mabilis uminit ulo ko hehehe

Eh di may nakasakay ako sa jeep… kaibigan ko din… si Gay.  Katanong-tanong ba naman sa akin eh…

“Ate Sheggz, kalian ka naman mag-aasawa?”

Whehehe… isang sarcastic na ngiti ang naisagot ko… sabay sabing…

“Hindi pa ipinapanganak ang taong yon… hihintayin ko pang lumaki… hehehe”

Sinakal ng Kasal….

Napag-usapan na rin lang ang kasal-kasal na yan… Kaninang umaga lang… habang nasa FX…ang daming naglalaro sa utak ko… mga pangyayaring inaasam kong mangyari sa kasal ng isang malapit na kaibigan…

Ano kaya reaction niya pag nirerecite na niya ang wedding vows niya?
Iiyak din kaya siya?
Bakit naman siya iiyak?
Ano kaya ang hitsura niya sa kasal niya?
Sana hindi siya mapahiya sa hitsura niya na noh?
Ano kaya reaction niya pag nakita niya ako sa kasal niya? ba?

May masasaktan ba?
Makakasakit ba ako?
O masasaktan lang nila ako?
Ano kaya naman ang hitsura ko sa kasal nila?

Eh paano kaya kung gulatin ko silang dalawa…
Na tutugtugin ko ang wedding song nila…
Mapapangiti ko ba sila?
Mapapangiti ko ba siya…..
Mapapawi ko ba ang lungkot sa sarili ko..
Mapapawi ko ba ang mga alalahanin sa kalooban niya.
Mararamdaman din kaya niya ang panghihinayang?

Paano niya kaya ako titingnan sa panahong iyon…
Na maaaring iyon na ang huling sandali na magkikita kami
o magpapakita ako sa kanya…

Makakangiti pa kaya ako ?
Ano kaya kung bigla akong sumigaw ng tumututol sa kasal?
Ano kaya reaction nilang lahat?
Sabay sabing … “Joke joke joke.. tuloy ang kasal?”

Hindi kaya ako mabugbog sa loob ng simbahan?
Pero may isang bagay akong naisip…

“Ako sana yung katabi niya sa harapan eh… Siya dapat ang nasa likod at nanonood… Sayang… Tangengot kasi kami pareho… Naduwag… natanga… na-ewan ko ba….”

Haaayyyy…

Iiyak kaya ako?
O pretend as if not affected chuva
Hmmm… bakit ko ba iniisip ito.
Hindi naman ako ang ikakasal..
Makikinood lang naman ako ng kasal…
Na sana ay kasal ko at kasal niya…
Ngunit hindi naging posible…
Wag na lang kayo ako manood.
Hassle eh.

Gustong gusto kong sabihin ito eh.. matagal na…

The Grooms at their Weddings

Last night, Matto and I watched some of the wedding videos of Jun Magbanua and the AVP of Donna and Paul, who just got married last October 27.

We laughed at some reactions of the grooms and brides and were touched at some gestures like…

… the groom crying while reciting his wedding vow.
… and how the bride tried to comfort her groom in that situation…
… close friends can’t help but shed tears of joy…
… reactions of parents while giving their daughters to their grooms
… the groom hugged his bride so tight after professing his love..

Natutuwa ako sa mga lalaking hindi mapigilang mapaluha kapag nirerecite na yung wedding vows. Lalo na yung pag naglalakad ang bride sa aisle and the groom is waiting in front… Ayoko namang makakita ng bride na umiiyak pag naglalakad sa aisle.. sayang ang makeup. Moment mo na yun eh… mas magandang all smile….

Para sa isang lalaki na umiyak in front of many people… in front of those who know him personally, big deal ang magpakita ng isang matinding emosyon diba?

Tapos okay lang sa kanya na sa sandaling panahon ay maging kakatwa sa harap nila para lang sa babaing pinili nilang mahalin at pakasalan. Nawawala ang ego ng mga lalaki pag ikinakasal…

Ganun yata talaga yon eh… iba iba ang nararamdaman ng mga taong ikinakasal…

Bday ng mga Angels

Twelve more days to go and we’ll be hosting a birthday dinner with the celebrants not physically present… It’s definitely simple but very meaningful for those who are present and spiritually roaming.

Oh well, Rowell… for sure your favorites are there…

The Lucky Me Pancit Canton (The spicier the better), the Chicken, Pizza and Dan Eric’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream…

But instead of the usual picnic at Tagaytay, we’ll have it somewhere in Quezon City na lang ha?

Beautiful Faces

 Tweety De Leon, Daphne Oseña, Gretchen Malalad, Dawn Zulueta, Jamie Rivera, Chin-Chin Gutierrez, Bernadette Sembrano, Agot Isidro, Jennifer Lopez, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai… are the names that I will have in mind if asked about beautiful faces in showbiz.

Look at them closely, you will wee their similarities?
Very Filipina-look with a touch of Palestinian / Indian / Arabic.

In their faces, you will see just how gentle their inner being is.

Even in beauty pageants, I look for black beauties with really captivating eyes.

 I remember just one chinita who I really find cute… Iwa Moto of Starstruck.

 Chx Alcala too looks good in person… but not so much on TV and print diba? Bedazzled when I saw her!

Contrary to my preference in guys.
I like chinito… Chinese, Koreans and Half-Singkit Half Penoy… hehehe

Chinitos when smiling, eyes are disappearing… and I find it really cute.
It’s actually the eyes that I look first in a person… then how he / she smiles…
