Christmas Party

So happy with the first company announcement that Dec 1 and 2 are declared non-working holidays.  So it's gonna be one very long weekend Yooohooo!

Then, an email was sent again…. this time.. Company Christmas Party on December 16!  And we are obliged to be in JS Prom attire!  Hahahaha

I never experienced attending to a JS Prom ever!  IJA kasi… no JS Party!  I remembered, our Seniors' Party eh exchange of candles lang.. harharhar!

One year na pala ang lumipas.. the last time I had Christmas Party was in Fujitsu… at sikat ang Pinoy Big Brother dance namin non nila Con!  Kaya nga invited ako ulit ngayon… papasayawin pa ulit?!

Okay lang yan!  Basta libre food.. hehehehe  
Strictly.. bawal ang KJ… dance.. maskipaps!

I smiled for the nth time.  I succeeded once again in teaching one soul… the value of saying "Thank You"…

Much more that I taught him to beg "Sorry".  It washed away all the tiredness in me… What an accomplishment!

Now he knows… now he values…

Not a Boy

This time, I didn’t stick only to what my heart feels.

I have also used my brain.

I have used my eyes to search for the right one.

Maybe I was able to let go of my past because my heart knows that it is going to accommodate a much better man, someone who will fight for me and bravely face each and every consequences.  Someone whom I call a man, and not a boy.

Time to serve again!

Hi. Sama ba kayo sa GK Service natin on Sunday.  Turo tayo dance and music sa GK Kids, plus it's my birthday celebration..  Will you come?

Yehey.  That's great.  I knew you would like to come kasi you wanna serve sa GK diba?  See you then.

Guys, in the future, if you'll be hearing Gawad Kalinga… please do your share… if you were asked for monetary contributions… share your blessings if you have, but Gawad Kalinga needs manpower more than the budget. Company sponsorships shoulder the costs, but who will build the houses?

That's how Singles for Christ helps the Gawad Kalinga.  Most of us can't build a house… but we serve in other ways… arranging the hollowblocks… preparing food and snacks for the carpenters… taking care of the children of the beneficiaries of the houses while building houses..

We not just build houses… we're helping build a community. 
Pls. help Gawad Kalinga…. t's one project that Filipinos could truly be proud of.

So malapit ng mag-10 ng gabi nang maghiwalay kami ni JP… pagsakay ko ng jeep na Morayta Gastambide… diretso agad ako sa may bandang likod ng driver.  May naririnig akong intro ng kanta pero hindi ko pinansin dahil hindi pamilyar.

Ako lang ang sakay ng jeep at siyempre, ung driver.  Ang mga kamay ko ay puno ng bitbit.  Narinig ko na lang na sinabi ng driver na..

Driver:     Miss, hindi ka siguro fan ni Willie ano?

Sheggz:  Bakit naman po?

Driver:     Hindi mo alam itong kanta eh.

Sheggz:    Hahahahahaha

Hindi nya alam na sa kabila ng madami kong bitbit… sa utak ko ay naglaro ang isang scene na ..

Halos ihampas ko ang kaliwa’t kanang kamay ko… kembot magkabi-kabila at umindak sa saliw ng musikang…

 
Tinamaan lang ako ng hiya dahil baka mapagkamalan akong kulang-kulang eh nakaoffice attire pa naman ako.
 

Sheggz:            Hahahahahaha Manong… hindi ako fan ni Willie.. pero alam ko ang Boom Tarat Tarat! Munti ko na ngang sayawin yan sa studio nila nung isang linggo.   Tinamaan lang ako ng hiya.

Natawa ang driver.

Driver:               Talaga? Nagtatrabaho ka na ba?

Sheggz:            Opo

Driver    :           Masarap bang magtrabaho?

Sheggz:            Hmm.. trabaho rin po ang pagdadrive.  Masarap po ba?

Driver:               Hindi ko naranasan kasi magtrabaho nang namamasukan.  Ito na agad ang trabahong alam ko.  (sabay tawa)

Sheggz:            Kahit anong trabaho naman po mahirap pero kailangan masaya ka para okay.

May pamilya po ba kayo?

Driver:               Oo.  Malapit nang magtapos ang bunsong anak ko.  Teacher, ung isa Engineer at ang panganay ko ay Midwife pero nasa Call Center ngayon.

Sheggz:            Yon po ang accomplishment report ninyo kung nasa opisina kayo.

Driver:               Oo nga.  Malapit na rin akong magretire.  Gagawin ko na lang itong pagmamanehong part-time. Hahahaha

Sheggz:            Galing mo nga Manong eh. So paano po.. baba na ako.. lalampas na ako eh.  Sana makasakay ko ulit kayo. Tuloy natin ang kwentuhan natin. Matatandaan ko ang mukha ninyo.

Driver:               Sige. Ingat ka at gabi na.  Bibiyahe pa ako hanggang alas-dose.

Sheggz:            Ingat din po.  Boom Boom Boom!

At sabay kaming natawanan habang ako ay pababa.

Anniversary Gift

Last night, I joined my friend, Blizzardskii, in updating Laila’s Official Blog.  We met somewhere near Mendiola… It was fun, though Blizzardskii’s voice cracked my eardrums.  We were rushing to get it done but our online buddies keep on buzzing around… there’s Matto… and Agnes.. hehehe

On our way home, he thought of buying me an ice cream…. Just a simple treat but I really appreciate it.  We were sharing stories, personal, showbiz, insights, etc. Very casual, very light but sincere.  I told him (shall I say her?)

I wasn’t able to continue coz we were laughing.  I met him last Dec. 2, 2005 in front of PBB House during the PBB Vigil and we were cheering for one of the housemates.  He is the first former I met.

I never thought that he is not straight… hehehe  But if I stick to that notion that he is straight, turned-off din ako.

Imagine, I was alone at that vigil because he left me and that he needs to go home.
Siya ang inihahatid namin sa sakayan ng jeep pag tapos na ang gimmick.
Isang beses pa lang ako inihatid nito… at sa Marikina un… the rest.. oh my God.. hehehe

Then last night, I laughed again… he bid goodbye.  He was so scared that he’ll be leaving alone.
So I was with him till he found the FX. 

Habang naglalakad ako, sinulyapan ko pa yung FX na sinasakyan niya…natawa ulit ako… at dinugtungan ko ung dapat na sasabihin ko…

Hindi lang tayo magkaibigan…”

At napabunghalit ako ng tawa.  Pero sadyang mabait si Lord, hindi niya ibibigay sa akin ang isang taong may posibilidad na magturo sa aking magkulot at magpedicure hehehehe

Lapit na Anniversary natin!  He told me, he will try hard to give me a Pooh Bear currently on sale at Megamall … tama bang sabihing P350 ang price…. May tama talaga noh?
