Tender Loving Care

I met my dear Mader in the bus terminal early this morning before going to work.  As usual, she was early and I was late again!

I saw her standing inside while carrying her favorite shoulder bag and a black dunkin donut freebie bag.
I am wearing an empire-cut blouse and black pants for office.  I saw her smiling at me…
Mukhang nagustuhan ni Mader ang pagurl kong attire. I went closer…

Sheggz:  Bili tayo ng Donut para may baon tayo.

Mader:    Wag na, she said.

I got nervous when she got a white crumpled plastic bag with “brown” crumpled paper inside… and said

Mader:    Eto.. ipinagbaon kita ng Palapad.

Sheggz:   Ay puteks!  Sabi ko na nga ba… 
               Hindi man lang ipinlastik ng maayos hahaha
               Kaganda ko pa naman ngayon tapos ung plastic kawala talaga ng poise. Totoo!

Mader:     Hahaha… nagmamadali kasi si Ina kanina (my Lola) kaya hindi na nailagay ng
               maayos.  Kainin mo daw pagdating ng office.  Tiyak na maaga ka dadating.

Tsismisan kami till the jeepney comes.  Talagang mega-babay pa sa akin…
Inside the fx, a middle-aged guy in front of me is smiling while I am trying to put the plastic in my bag.  I saw him smiling pa.

The Guy:     Baon ba?

Sheggz:      Opo… Pabaon ng Mader… hehehe

The Guy:     Alagang-alaga ka ah.  Takot magutom.

On my desk, I opened the gusot na plastic and ate the 5 Palapad I saw inside.  I forgot to share it to my officemates…  While eating… napaisip ako…
