The Phenomenal ze Muzikal is back!

Good news to all Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah fans out there and to those who missed its initial run last year.

The most sought-after musical will have its limited rerun on January 19 to 28 at CCP's Huseng Batute Theatre with the original casts in it due to INSISTENT PUBLIC DEMAND! <yahooo!>

You can get your tickets at CCP by calling 832-3661 or 832-1125 locals 1620/1621.

Synopsis:

Zaturnnah, a powerful and voluptuous female with large red hair and a muscular physique, is reminiscent of the DC Comics character Wonder Woman and the classic Filipino superhero Darna. The distinct difference is the sex and sexuality of her alter ego Ada, who is an effeminate homosexual male. The proprietor of a small town beauty salon, Ada receives a stone that, when ingested, physically transforms him into Zsazsa Zaturnnah.

The graphic novel was adapted into a stage musical by Tanghalang Pilipino, one of the country's top theater companies. Credits include Chris Martinez (for adaptation), Vince de Jesus (for musical direction) and Chris Millado (direction). The musical was staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines from February 10 to March 5, 2006. Former teen idol-turned-dramatic actress Eula Valdez played the title role to positive reviews. Other lead roles were played by Tuxqs Rutaquio (as the character Ada), Ricci Chan (as Didi), alternates Lauren Novero and Arnold Reyes (as Dodong), and alternates Agot Isidro and Kalila Aguilos (as Queen Femina Suarestellar Baroux). Even before the musical's opening night, almost all tickets for the scheduled 16 shows had been booked, unprecedented in Tanghalang Pilipino's experience with original stage material. The musical has had 31 shows over three stagings between February 10 to June 18, 2005.

Being in love

Child:  What's the feeling of being in love?

Adult:  It's like going to a theme park and riding all the rides you want!

Child:  So it will make you dizzy and vomit?

Adult:  No, it's like going to a candy store and having to eat all the sweets that you want!

Child:   So it will make your tooth hurt?

Adult:  No, it's like running so fast with nothing boggling your mind!

Child:  So it will bruise you and leave a scar once you trip or fall?

… Funny how a child knows what adults usually ignore.

Values Education

<sabay abot pabalik ng piso>

Taking things lightly

Good morning!

As 2007 enters, i decided to have a new layout for my blog.  Going in parallel with my perspectives.

… new outlook
… new plans
… new life
… new friends and keeping the old ones
… new Me ;-)

Pink and Light Blue are actually two of my known favorites.  So light and cool to my eyes.
I made use of a lily (flower) for the header image  to add a more feminine look to it.  I love looking at beautiful and colorful flowers.  It's one thing I look at the weddings…

Gotcha! I found a great match that fits the other side of my personality.

Hope you all like it as much as I did.

Thanks, Adam! ;-)
