Actors in the Corporate Scene
January 12, 2007Well, i had a very long day. So long that it has actually started two yesterdays ago and still hasn't ended yet.
Time-essential and mission-critical..
When you're in the flag gate of project implementation in a service-oriented environment whose scope is more than a hundred stores nationwide, you're not allowed to be weak. Any wrong move is expected to create a chain reaction.
Just had several executive meetings and software testing on-site… just had a few kicks but never knocked down. Huh?! Ako pa.. k-birthday ko si PacMan!
Blah Blah Blah… all mixed-up in my brain! But actually while in front of them my mind is doing another thing… there I find the connections … and the corporate actors… Risk Management - Change Management - Participative Management - Situational Analysis which I have learned in graduate studies… now I see they're cousins and where they reside in the actual scene… whehehe They cannot be pulled out to stand alone.
I remember my professor on a debate regarding fault-finders, change-innovators and risk managers where I pointed out that I admire the risk managers more than the innovators… Astig! Innovators will assist while change in the process is on-going… but the risk managers?! Whoah!
They are the corporate defenders!
And I saw that too…
And also..
those that never get tired of lengthy explanations and justifications where in fact the question could be answered by "Yes or No… I admit it… It's not our fault".
The "don't throw that blame to me" has always been around… escape goat!
