The Way We Planned It

I saw my officemate’s compilation of songs in our server.  I enjoyed browsing and playing familiar songs I’ve long been searching… as if I found a great treasure.  hehehe

The highlighted cursor points to one seemingly familiar song title.

I knew this song by heart.  I heard this 4 years ago…

<Flashback>

From then on, I constantly hear it from his PC and I find myself humming… just humming because I knew just one line of it..

Kuya Sam, is my officemate before in DoT.  Everytime I ran out of song title, I usually turn to him for answers with the name of the composer included, whether or not it is original or revived, and the other signers who revived that song thereafter and sometimes, even the year it was created.  In short, Sam the Great is my walking windows media player with built-in media library.  Hehehe

He introduced me to songs which had become famous and those rarely played but very very good. 

And this song always reminds me of him…. his “pamana” to me…

I am excited and nervous as well to hear it… baka mali ako e malungkot lang ako.

The first few beat of it made me feel at home with the song….  “The Way We Planned It” by Friends of Distinction.
