Black and White Keys
May 5, 2007I went home early to find some rest. I immediately looked for my old keyboard. It's my Dad's bday gift for me at the time he was working abroad. A simple Casiotone keyboard turned yellowish due to age. Got damaged yet revived a couple of times.
Got excited to see that the lights turned on and I could still hear the sounds…
I started to find some good tunes … and was so happy that in less than 5 minutes, I could play my favorite "Way Back into Love" with no music sheet in front… just the clear tune on top of my mind…
I said to myself… "wala pa ring kupas sa pagkapa hehehe".
I maybe the worst keyboard player the world has ever produced due to lack of practice and self-improvement but I cannot deny the world that I have good ear for music… that even if no chords given to me, I can try searching for it on the black and white keys till I get a few notes of it till I arrive at a simple masterpiece…
I looked at the watch, and it's 2:00am… hehehehe
Where everyone else is restfully sleeping and dreaming.. I am so happy tickling my keyboard.
That's the source of my energy….
The Lil Boy
A mom of two kids entered the door of MRT. The mom is carrying a lil boy… the boy looks exactly as his mom… cute when little… not so cute when he gets older… hehehe
A vacant seat was offered to them. Instead of the mom occupying the seat, she rest her lil boy… crawling and playing till he laid comfortably on the seat.
The mom was carefully looking after him while the teeners beside them was playing "kooki-kooki ku" with the kid.
After a few minutes, the mom said.. "Babay, Kiko. Alis na kami ni Ate! Babay!"
I know that the mom was just teasing the boy, as she wave her hand…
I saw the boy, trying so hard to get up… though he wasn't able to rise up so fast… I almost stood up to be beside the boy if ever he slide down.
Still trying… till he stumbled… rise up a few more time…. and stumbled… when he can no longer rise up, he just cried… In his innocent mind, he didn't know that he was just teased…
Ganon pala ang bata. So independent with Mom. The moment they feel they will be left alone… that's the scariest for them…
Ag and Ob
Saturday afternoon, we decided to surprise our very good friend, Neknek, for a pizza celebration of her birthday last April 30… so late actually …
I and Ageng connived for this. The night before we were exchanging texts… even told her to bring dictionary for us to get along with the english-speaking Frankie… I laughed out loud when she replied…
Ageng: Obs, wag na lang nating kausapin ung bata.
Obong: Hahahahaha para pa rin tayong highschool
Ageng: We need a little refreshing moment… Nyahaha…
She brought her camera and her big boy, Gerald to meet Neknek and her cute lil Frankie… Ageng, Neknek and I are good highschool buddies… with Ruthlynne missing…
We were the ones surprised to get a text from Neknek that she's in Manila… Oh my! We're worried to see the Family-sized pepperonni pizza we ordered… and sad to missed another chance to bond and reunite… We stopped at our terrace and get a load of "kwentuhan"…
What we discovered? We haven't changed a lot… We're still the same who tend to be amazed at lil things, get irritated at complicated people who make our lives complicated… hehehe
Still tough!
Ageng is the very first closest friend I had in life that got married after highschool…
You know when you're with real friends…. you will always be accepted for who you are… Timang On or Off..
