The Name

I decided to look for the etymology of my name… a lil I know about it is that it's an Arabic name… I was surprised to see a handful of exactly similar spelling of my name …

From resourcesforlife, it's the English version of the French "cherie" meaning dear or darling. But the origin of it is Persian… It's a variant of Persian Shirin, meaning "sweet" or "pleasant".

It is supposed to be Sheryl, after the name of the child wonder, Sheryl Cruz, who at the time is very popular. The last two letters where changed because the baby born on the same date and hour was named Sheryl also…

It became Shereen… sounds like "Siya rin! Hehehe"

A lil changes on the spelling means a lot pala!
