The Journey

Last July 28, I was in Ayala Techno Park in UP Diliman, for the Victory Party of Beatriz Saw along with her supporters in various sectors, friends, families and relatives…

Aside from the Sawsyfriends from PEX and ABS-CBN Forums, I found out that there are other groups who actively supported her…. to name a few:  Women's Sector, Youth Sector (esp. UP Youth), Religious Group (CFC & SFC), Political Groups…

It's so overwhelming to be one with them…  And I had goosebumps when I heard her singing "The Journey"… coz it's one of my favorites….

I'm just too happy to have become a part of those journey, Bea…  It makes me proud of having voted one that's truly deserving of all these…

Chat with Iset

I got to chat with Iset, one of my featured friends in Friendster hehehehe yesterday.  The conversation appeared to be as if she's here… though in reality, she's in Singapore.  I learned that Francis will be visiting her anytime this August.  I might as well do the same thing on the latter part of the year… or I might as well celebrate my b-day in the land of the gadgets!

So there's more time to save up for the holiday seasons for one great shopping spree! Yahooo!

That's one great bonding trip I look forward to in 2007.

It's one heck of round-the-clock tsismisan … Singapore version! hehehehe

Memory Box

I almost forgot …. but thanks to my memory… that I remember greeting my very good friend, Mylene a.k.a. Mhy Mhy yesterday as she celebrates her birthday.

Mhy and Rodz are my constant hi-school buddies.  Though we haven't been seeing that much, having the time to bumped into each other is one great opportunity to ignite the flame of friendship, bonding, and kwentuhan.

We've been friends for more than 10 years.  A not-so-regular meet and greet up does not in any way affect the way of being friends and bruhs <short for bruha>.

That's what I would want my new-found friends to realize and take careful consideration of.  Not seeing and not knowing the daily what-you've-beens and what-had-beens should not be treated as grounds for making relationships turned sour.  I find this attitude soooo immature and senseless… sorry for the words…

Let's just enjoy every moment of reuniting and rekindling friendship spirit… anything beyond that no longer appears in my memory box…

Harry Potter

I got this post from Michelle a.k.a. Aqualover in Friendster Bulletin… A spoiler, I should say, to all Harry Potter fanatics… but it's worth reading after all…

Voldemort plans to kill Harry when he is being moved to a new safe place, which must happen when he turns seventeen and his safety with the Dursleys expires.

Hedwig, Harry's owl, is killed by a tray Killing Curse.

George Weasley has lost an ear due to the Sectumsempra curse cast by Snape, and Alastor Moody had been killed by Voldemort himself.

The Minister of Magic arrives at The Burrow to give Harry, Ron, and Hermione bequests from Dumbledore's will. Ron is given Dumbledore's Deluminator (or "Put-Outer"), with the power to capture lights, Hermione receives a book of children's stories written in Ancient Runes, and Harry inherits Godric Gryffindor's sword and the first Snitch that Harry had ever caught.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione are told an old wizard story about three brothers who bested Death, and each had received a magical item for it, the three Deathly Hallows – an unbeatable wand (called the Elder Wand), a stone which could bring back the dead (the Resurrection Stone), and an Invisibility Cloak that never failed with age.

Lovegood has betrayed them to the Ministry; Luna, his daughter, has been taken captive and he believes that giving them Harry Potter would cause them to free her.

Hermione is tortured and interrogated by Bellatrix Lestrange to find how she acquired Godric Griffindor's sword, believing it to have been stolen from her vault (Bellatrix's one is a fake), while Harry and Ron are imprisoned in
the basement with Dean Thomas, Griphook the goblin, Ollivander the wand maker, and Luna Lovegood.

They escape as Voldemort is close to arriving, but Dobby is slain by Bellatrix Lestrange as they flee to Shell Cottage, Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's home.

Hagrid is captured by Acromantulas and later ends up a captive in the hands of the Death Eaters. Fred Weasley's estranged brother Percy Weasley arrives and reunites with his family. Just after, a Death eater kills Fred. In the same battle, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, and Colin Creevey are also killed (the exact cause is unconfirmed).

As he dies from the snake bite, Snape gives up his memories to Harry, who uses the Pensieve to find out that Snape was on Dumbledore's side, motivated by his lifelong love of Lily Evans (Harry's mother). Snape was asked by Dumbledore to kill him if the situation demands it; the curse placed on the Horcrux ring (which is also the Resurrection Stone) limited Dumbledore's life, regardless. Harry also discovers that he himself is a Horcrux, and that Voldemort cannot be killed while Harry remains alive. Harry awakens and meets the deceased Albus Dumbledore in an enormous deserted hall, which is explained to be a sort of equivalent to King's Cross railway station. Here, it is explained he cannot die while Voldemort lives since he used Harry's blood to recreate his body, and Lily's protection binds the two. Hagrid carries Harry (seemingly dead) back to Hogwarts to much dismay and shock to those there. Bravely, Voldemort is faced down by Neville, who rejects his offer to join him and become a Death Eater.

When Voldemort strikes Harry with the killing curse from the Elder Wand it rebounds and kills Voldemort.

In the story's epilogue, taking place 19 years after the Second Battle of Hogwarts, Harry and Ginny Weasley are married and have three children named James, Albus Severus, and Lily. Ron and Hermione are also married and have two children named Rose and Hugo. It is revealed that Neville Longbottom has become the Herbology Professor at Hogwarts.

Harry's scar has not hurt since the Dark Lord's defeat.

Becoming Yourself

I spent midnight till early morning chatting with a friend I'd rather not mention the name for privacy.  Let's just put a name to refer to "JoyStick".

It's one, if not the one…. relaxing chat conversations of opening up… of knowing the deeper aspect of being a person.  Why I find it so relaxing?  The topic might be too personal but it's the trust and sincerity of opening up that makes me value and appreciate the moment.

JoyStick is a lesbian.  Upfront.  Sincere.  And will never allow any person to be uncomfortable at her being lesbian.  That being self-assured is one I admire the most.  Many misunderstood the notion of admitting being bisexual, gay or lesbian… but I am always too happy when a person opens up to me and share this…

Breaking up the silence is not that easy and being one of the very few persons to be entrusted of this is what I forever value and treasure.

Am I?  No, I'm not.  It's just that my encounters with the third sex are too many that I began to be very curious at how each of them lives the way of being one … knowing the transformation, experience and opening up… i find so interesting.

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.

Question Thy Self

This one's from Debbie.  Reading this, makes me feel guilty somehow.  Been inactive in service in Singles for Christ for so long… I remember in many events of SFC that I've been given rosary to pray and act as "Prayer Warrior".  The task of Prayer Warrior is too critical…. for he/she is praying for the group in defense of anything bad or any strike of the Other's Side… For so many years, I respond to the call of being God's Warrior.

The desire to serve subsides… for some reasons known and unknown… I let it affect my faith and service not just to the entire community of SFC and the people that needs it… but most specially… with God.

All of us are soldiers of God.

So when you feel tired, wounded and weak,

Don't give up.

The battle is at its peak.

and in His lead, we'll always find glory!

I find myself weak at people I doubt… or people I'm so uncomfortable dealing with… or whose desire I highly questioned.

But I failed to question myself.

Too glad that they end up with the "Love of their Lives"… and grateful for having known their husbands-to-be in some ways.

Everytime my friend introduce me to their boyfriends/girlfriends, this is the usual thought that pops out of my mind…

Well I found myself humming this tune, after watching it sung by a couple in Wowowee.. I browse the net and found out that it is entitled "Love of a Lifetime", a song from FireHouse.  I find it too special when sung by that couple.

Simple bonding

I was supposed to visit my favorite hairstylist at Rob Ermita yesterday when I decided to text my bestfriend.  Instead of having my new haircut, we opted to watch Harry Potter.  Rech and I used to sneak out just to watch movies… and Harry Potter series is one of the usual movie we intend not to miss watching out together…

Sometimes, I find myself sleeping on her shoulders, while she's busy figuring out how the movie goes and will end up waking me up as soon as the movie ends.

While inside the moviehouse and sipping frosty jelly… when we were almost done…. we looked at each other and said…

"Anlamig!!!" <lol>

I love our simple bonding together… something I'm always excited about…

I love myself when I don't need to be guarded of my "what-am-I-suppose-to-tell-or-react" behavior.  It's fun to be with real friends who demand nothing but to be yourself amidst all the odds.

Okay then… let's watch Meg Ryan ha?
