Songwriter’s Afternoon

Excited ako para sa August 11, 2007 (Ooopss birthday pala ni Sansu ito)… nagpaenlist kasi ako sa mga  makikijoin sa isang simpleng event… Songwriters' Afternoon… weee!! 

Ang madadatnan ko dun ay mga members na ng KATHA.  Tingnan ko lang kung paano sila magjamming… Ang takot ko lang, paano ko kaya ipeperform ung kantang isinulat ko dati-dati pa… Gusto ko lang maging bahagi ng isang bagong experience… Malay natin… sa mga susunod na araw… maging songwriter na nga ako…

Asan nga ba?

Tama nga ba ang mga desisyong ginagawa ko?
O tamang tao ba ang sinasamahan ko?

The sweet scent of "LIBERATION"… that's what I long to smell…
I've been running high and low just to get a grasp of my plans to be free and it seems fate has other ways to present that to me.

The past week has been one of my depressing week to note… but it never made me dull anyway… emotions had been redirected to a more productive service.

Recently, I happened to read something that turned my moods to the extremes.  It's too depressing to see people who make use of "nasty remarks" just to put other people on…

I need not to be in company of fake that will surely bring me a lot of hair flakes… hehehe
A few will do… as long as they're true.

Cause when I say I'm a friend… I mean it.
Cause I am not blinded by good looks and charms or anything related to it…

I'm bound to my own instinct and senses…

The Alpha and Omega of Friendship

Unusual signs are all pointing to what I've long been asking myself.
And it's a relief and so comforting to know that there's just something real happening in the other side of the world where nobody seems to be real.

I am smiling everytime I receive signs that points to the puzzling questions and doubts.
And to my amazement, the last sign I asked, was I guess what confirms everything what I've been holding myself off to affirm. Remember the pink bouquet of flowers? If you recall that time, my eyes grew wide. It's the end of all asking and a beginning of the good things to come.

Thanks… there is friendship that binds… and only time will tell if it's the same reason that ties if the journey is geared towards forever.

For someone who was once acknowledged by one of my closest friends as "The Patron of Friends", it's so unusual to have kept myself so far at believing there is friendship. And it takes me two years to convince myself of that fact hehehehe

There is.
Unexpected.
But there is.
No complications. Casual, real and carefree. Pero "pag bad ka… lagot ka." hehehehe

Reunion Concert of PBB Season 1 ex-Housemates

Pinoy Big Brother Season 1 ex-Housemates are back with their latest offering… "HITCH! Pinoy, Sakay Na!", their 2nd year anniversary concert.  Set to be held on September 18, 2007 @ 6:00pm at the Big Dome.

As a tribute to all who have supported the Pinoy Big Brother and the Season 1 ex-housemates, this event has been conceptualized as a "reunion event"… reunion of all housemates together with their supporters and tickets are free!

You'll be seeing more of Racquel Reyes, Chx Alcala, Say Alonzo, Jenny Suico, Nene Tamayo, Cass Ponti, Rico Barrera, Sam Milby, JB Magsaysay, Bob Dela Cruz, Jayson Gainza and Franzen Fajardo.

Turn it over dude!

I'm into my last few days at work and been doing a lot of turn-over of tasks to my new officemate, Raul.  I am now free of attending meetings and resolving conflicts.  I am now free to surf the net and blog. Haaayyy..

My friends and my officemates notice just how "refreshed and relaxed" my aura is in the past few days.  

It feels good to be relieved of "not-so-easy" loads.  But it feels good to have made something good out of the darkest moments of my stay in my company in handling this project.

Later this week is my final exit… I'll be missing my Doo Bi Doo Bi Doo friends…;-)

‘Pinoy Big Brother’ results leaked hours before the Big Night

Sanay na kami sa leakage, especially sa mga awards night, but never pa kaming nakatanggap ng leakage about a reality show's results. Kaya nga nag-request kami sa associate editor ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na ilabas ang balitang ito kung tatama ang mga detalye na natanggap namin sa magiging resulta ng Pinoy Big Brother Season 2, na hapon pa lang ng Saturday, June 30, ay nakuha na namin.

Diumano, ayon sa leakage na nakarating sa amin, si Bea Saw ang mananalo and she will be wearing a white gown. Si Wendy Valdez ang magsi-second place at magsusuot ng black gown. Si Mickey Perz ang third place at si Gee-Ann Abrahan naman ang fourth place.

Si Bea nga ang nanalo at tama rin na si Gee-Ann ang fourth placer. Pero magkabaliktad ang puwesto nina Mickey at Wendy; si Mickey ang second placer at third placer naman ang kontrobersiyal na si Wendy.

Ayaw magsalita ang source ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung paano ito nakuha dahil talagang naintriga kami na pati ang isusuot na mga gowns ng dalawang top winners ay nabanggit niya.

May dagdag pang detalye na ia-announce daw sa gabi ng Big Night at the Big Dome kapag tinawag na si Wendy as second placer. Hindi niya raw makukuha nang buo ang mapapanalunan niya dahil bumalik na lang siya sa bahay, so may computation na gagawin. Hindi niya rin daw makukuha ang trip to USA na part of the second-place winner.

Hindi ito na-announce dahil hindi nga si Wendy ang naging second-place winner.

May isang tanong kami sa nagkuwento sa amin nito. Ang pagkakaalam namin, hanggang hapon ng Sabado, tuloy pa ang botohan hanggang ilang minuto bago i-announce ang Big Winner.

Hindi na kami sinagot ng aming source.

Ang aming source din ang unang nagsabi sa amin na si Bodie Cruz ang panghuling matatanggal bago mag-Final Four pero hindi namin ito pinaniwalaan o isinulat man lang. At that point, with five people still in the house—two boys and three girls—nagkakataon na sa mga past PBB editions ay dalawang lalaki at dalawang babae ang matitira, so near to impossible na matanggal si Bodie. Si Bodie, na anak nina Tirso Cruz III at Lyn Ynchausti, nga ang final cut last Thursday, June 28.

Posibleng may access ang PEP source sa botohan ng PBB kaya nalaman niya kung ano ang magiging puwesto ng Big 4. Posibleng during the time na ini-leak ang balita ay nasa ikalawang puwesto si Wendy at nasa ikatlong puwesto si Mickey. Nabago lang marahil ang boto nila noong palapit na ang announcement of winners.

May posibilidad din na hinulaan lang ng PEP source ang magiging ranking ng Big 4, kaso ay sumablay siya kina Mickey at Wendy. Maaari ring may nakapagsabi sa kanya na kulay puti ang gown na isusuot ni Bea at itim naman ang kay Wendy.

Sa pagkakaalam namin ay kinuha ng PBB ang auditing firm na Sycip Gorres Velayo o SGV upang siyang mag-monitor ng mga pumapasok na boto hanggang sa Big Night. Kaya kataka-taka na nag-leak ang resulta ng Big Night, kung totoo nga ito.

Matatandaang ilang araw bago ang PBB Big Night ay inulan ng batikos ang pamunuan ng nasabing reality show dahil diumano sa pagmamanipula nito ng mga boto. Ipinagtataka kasi ng marami kung bakit sa kabila ng maraming galit kay Wendy ay nakaabot pa siya sa Big 4 (at eventually ay naging third placer).

Pinabulaanan na ng unit head ng PBB na si Direk Lauren Dyogi ang mga alegasyong ito. Ayon sa kanya, hindi nila mina-manipulate ang resulta ng botohan sa kahit na anong paraan.

At press time ay sinusubukan ng PEP na kunin ang panig ng mga taga-Pinoy Big Brother tungkol sa diumano'y leakage na ito. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
