Britain’s Got Talent

This is the final's night of Britain's Got Talent.  Connie was the 2nd from the right just beside the winner, Paul.

Simon Cowell:  I thought you were fantastic.  Connie.  I only have question.. was that really you singing…  now we have something important to do…. peers.. what?!

Amanda:  Yes!

Piers: Yes!

Simon Cowell:  Connie you're through to the next round.She was perfect!

Connie:  All this time, I wanted to sing in front of Simon Cowell. And when he enjoyed listening to me sing, I am very happy.  All I have to remember all the words to my song tonight and that's gonna be hard.  But I'll have to go out there and try my best coz that means I could sing again… and I love singing.

The best 6-year old singer in the world

Connie: Sometimes when I sleep I sing in I sleep. 

Mom: when you hear a song in the middle of the midnight it's actually Connie singing .  So it must be a dream.

Dad:She must be dreaming, she's singing on the stage

Connie: When I sing on the stage it makes me feel happy.  I love singing more than anything else in the whole wide world.  This whole competition just feels like a dream and you don't want it to stop.

Everytime I watch Connie singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and being interviewed, I'm always having goosebumps and I find myself in tears… the song, the girl, the dream and her guts never fail to touch the very seat of my emotions… that's why I cry.

I envy her for at a very young age, she knows and is very firm at saying she knows what she wants, she enjoys realizing a dream and is very happy at every challenges she encounter.

It's the conviction on her face whenever she says… "This whole competition just feels like a dream and you don't want it to stop."

I will always be touched by your voice, Connie…. and I will always remember you with your very sweet big smile on stage… I envy your guts so much…. and I'm too happy for you! 

May the best things happen to you now and always….

Piers: you sing beautifully and everyone loves your voice. As you know you are the favorite to win tonight… and it's gonna take something incredibly special to beat you… incredibly special.

Simon Cowell: Connie, I'm very very proud of you tonight, sweetheart. Because you know when you can create this incredible silence when you sing and everyone is listening to every word, I would want to treat you like an adult..  You're a great singer…You've got guts… you're brilliant
