Kakaibang spirit

Tuwing Sunday ng madaling araw, kami ay nasa harapan na ng DLSU sa Taft para abangan si Bro bago mag-exam.  Marami kang makikitang mga nakakatouched, nakakatawa, nakakaloka at magkakahalong hitsura at pangyayari.. 

- merong kakagising pa lang na mga sabukot ang buhok na ihahatid ang asawa, kapamilya, kaibigan o "ka-ibigan" sabay "tsup!" God bless!

- merong barista na wala sa sariling lakad lang ng lakad kala mo ay pinanawan na ng bait

- merong hindi mo makumbinsi ang sarili mo kung barista nga o nagkamali lang … hehehe

- meron din namang mga munting anak na ihuhug ng "daddy" o ng "mommy" before na magexam.

- pero mas marami ang kumpletong pamilya tapos sabay sabay maghuhug sa anak na kukuha ng exam… at kalimitan ang tatay ang magsasabi na…. "God Bless You… Have faith!" 

Natouched ako sa isang batang babae, 'bagong gising'… sabay yakap sa mommy nya… ng-flying kiss pa sabay sigaw na… "Mommy, wag kang magmadali mag-answer ha, hihintayin ka lang namin ni Daddy!"

Tapos kahit anong pigil ko, pag nakita ko na ang kapatid ko… at makikipag-kamay sa amin ng mahigpit… napapaluha ako everytime na sinasabi niya…. "Ate…. ipagdadasal mo ako ha?"

Pag alam naming nakapasok na siya sa loob, punta naman kami sa simbahan, wala naman kaming maisip na  mabisang tulong kundi "dasal" para sa kanya…. 

Habang nangyayari ang mga ito, may napansin akong isang lalaki sa harapan ko. Nag-iisa-isa lang.  At nag-aabang sa kakilalang dadaan.  Tapos pag may nakita na siya, as in super excited siyang magwiwish ng goodluck, kakamayan, ihuhug, tatapikin sa balikan at hahawakan ng mahigpit ang mga kamay ng barista… sabay sabing… "ipapasa ko lang ang swerte!  Galingan ninyo ha…. Ipasa ninyo ito!".  Laging ganoon ang sinasabi niya.  

Nasabi ko kay Mader, nakakatuwa naman ang taong un… nag-effort pa talagang gumising ng maaga at magwish ng ganun sa sinumang kakilala niya… Maaring isang law graduate na, o undergrad, o isang abogado na… o simpleng kaibigan lang…  At alam ninyo ba… na sa taong makakasalubong niya… hindi mapapantayang ngiti ang makikita mo sa kanila….

Pre-requisite

Let me share with you my unforgettable jobhunt.  I'm not sure actually, whether or not I applied for the said position via online… not sure if I applied for the subsidiary or the main office.  I was telling a friend that I am just waiting for the result of my medical exam… I'm done with the dental and physical exam indicating that "I am fit for employment".  

I already passed the interviews and the preliminary exam and was informed already that I only have to wait for the contract and accomplish the requirements.  Later I was informed that I need to take the general exam somewhere in Mandaluyong.  Though I have already successfully passed those requirements and the interview of the hiring manager…. I still have to wait for the result of the medical exam… I remembered my friend telling me… 

Matto (9/12/2007 1:27:15 PM): nag-ha-hire sila ng sira ang ulo, pero pag sira ang ipin, HINDI! 

And one thing more… I never got scared on my interviews and the exams… but I was overly nervous and "kinikilig" at the venue… "that's where my 5-year crush is working hehehehe" and I took the exam in the place where "his wife works" hehehehe

Dios ko day! Whatta hell!!!
