What to Expect…
September 20, 2007Everytime I'm heartbroken (aww!) or hurt by something or by someone, you'll find me in the bookstore, roaming around… trying to look for self-help books or anything that motivates me to buy or read the book.
I roam around and found the "Warrior of the Light" by Paulo Coehlo. But instead of buying, I opted to pick what my friend instructed me to buy.. "What to Expect the First Year" by Heidi Murkoff. While browsing the books, i found several others about parenting, pregnancy, child-rearing and all that… So there was this "What to Expect when you're Expecting" and "What to Expect the Toddler Years"… I was telling myself, surely, she'll be asking me again to buy this book when Izzie is older hehehe.
It's relaxing, entertaining and educational huh. When I got to Matto's house, there's Izzie and other baby gadgets. Everything you need to know is everywhere… there's this book, there's this high-tech gadgets…
I saw the "what to expect when you're expecting" book on her table…. i never thought that she had that one too… she promised that she'll lend it to me when.. the time comes that i have to read it…
hahahaha
What to expect when you're no longer expecting hahahaha
Be Happy ;-)
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't.
And believe that everything happens for a reason.Know a good thing when you see it, and don't let it slip away.
If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said it would be easy, they just said it would be worth it..Be happy! Enjoy life!
I usually start the day tuning in to "Umagang Kay Ganda"… because I just love the song… everytime I'm hearing that.. it sets my mood right… and I make it a point that it lasts the whole day…. the lyrics are so casual yet so true..
Umagang Kay Ganda
Written by Butch Monserrat
Halika na pumikit limutin ang problema
Hihintayin ang umaga
Magpahinga, panaginip ang ikaliligaya
Darating din ang umagaChorus:
Basta't tayo'y magkasama
Laging mayro'ng umagang kay ganda
Pagsikat ng araw
May dalang liwanag
Sa ating pangarap, ooh…
haharapin natin (haharapin natin)Magpahinga, panaginip ang ikaliligaya
Darating din ang umagaChorus:
Basta't tayo'y magkasama
Laging mayro'ng umagang kay ganda
Pagsikat ng araw
May dalang liwanag
Sa ating pangarap, ooh…
haharapin natin (haharapin natin)Bridge:
Ang sikat ng araw
Na may dalang liwanagChorus:
Basta't tayo'y magkasama
Laging mayro'ng umagang kay ganda
Pagsikat ng araw
May dalang liwanag
Sa ating pangarap, ooh…
haharapin natin (haharapin natin)
Live like you were dying
If not with Armi, we would have not noticed that a new CD is inside a book placed in Matto's drawer. Armi mentioned about.. "Tim McGraw… a country singer"… So I asked Matto to have that CD played. I love country music and I adore country singers and songwriters. We were joking about who's Tim McGraw… and Armi said, husband of Faith Hill… I told them… cousin of McGraw Hill hahahaha.
So I sat down and waited for track 1 to play. I turned it back and found this caption… "You can't control the length of your life… Just the depth." I was…. "Owww…"
The only track in the CD was very good…. and as you browse the book… you'll be spiritually enlightened.. I was hooked to the title actually because I was writing a song entitled.. "Don't ever live to die…."
A wonderfully inspirational book based on the song that in a very short time has captured the hearts of Americans everywhere, Live Like You Where Dying has a message of hope and love that makes it a perfect gift book for everyone. Nichols, Wiseman, and McGraw share with listeners and readers that the best way to enjoy life is to get in there and live every day as if it were your last. Includes a CD with the title song by Tim McGraw.
