Praying Moms
October 3, 2007Got inspired by last week's topic on The Family Rosary Crusade… I survived the toughest times, enjoyed the happiest times and even the not-so-good times…. because of my Praying Moms. My Lola prays a lot… in the morning, 2:30pm black rosary, 5pm and in the evening before she sleeps. Her usual prayer time is at 5pm where she stays at her room alone. The prayer is quite long because it encompasses that of Ama, her children, her grandchildren, her greatgrandchildren, her siblings, her parents and world peace… hehehe… not to mention, the spontaneous silent prayers she whispers at any time of the day…
During examinations and interviews, my Lolo and Lola, lit a candle, and placed it in the altar or at the sala, in the entire duration where they think, her children need enlightenment.
That's why, even if I am away, I am secure and not afraid of anything. I know that I am armed with my Lola's prayers. And I will always be grateful that she and my Mom are my prayer warriors…
I am always saved by their LOVE.
