Independent Pinays

I watched a talk show last night about “Modern Filipina” and I was shocked at how non-celebrity guests shared their views about this.  It made me think .. “Ganito na ba talaga ang Pinay?”

This is the reality, you can accept or leave it.

• I am glad that Pinays are no longer treated “submissive” to their husbands, they now partake in most of the familial obligations and decisions. 
• They are more level-headed in dealing with domestic marital conflicts.

I love independent Pinays who know what they want but know exactly how intelligently they will live it out.

I still would want to believe that there are still a lot of Pinays who live decently, conservatively with their values and live a life that it is admirable.

I would love to hear stories that speak of “Proudly Pinays” who made good at of being independent-minded and wise…

I love women who fight… not for the sake of making a fight…. but making a good sense of fighting for your values and your rights..
