It's a GIRL again for Sharman and Aiza! Yahoo!  They haven't thought of any name yet.  So my Tita asked me to list down the names.  I had no choice but to give her all that's in my mind even the names I am supposed to give my future lil Sheggz hehehehe.

They named here "Sharrie Adrielle".

Sharrie is a Hebrew word meaning "A fertile plain".  In the Jewish scriptures a passage in the The Song of Solomon compares the writer's loved one to the "Rose of Sharon." Sharon was the name of a plain in Palestine between Jaffa and Mount Carmel.  <Source:http://www.babynamer.com/sharrie>

In general, Sharrie meaning "From the Plains" and Adrielle as "Congregation of God" or Ady for short.

Into the Fabrics

I thank God for stitching friends into the fabric of my life… Their colorful patterns and personalities add riches to who I am Thanks my precious thread!

I stopped and think of my friends who had been tightly fabricated to my life.

Aside from the great love I have from my family, one source of strength is the comfort and security of having good if not the best and the true friends around. Really. Though in life, you meet and greet new friends.  I am not concerned whether or not these new friends will just stay short.  I won’t get sad and bitter.  They have their own rules and reasons for leaving.  For the presence of my old friends made me appreciate and value the unconditional love made stronger by the years.  And I value more their own rules and reasons for staying long.

That’s my own definition of Friends and Friendship.

Since the day my brother had decided to offer a hitch every morning and night whenever possible, it has helped me a lot in reducing a part of stress-causing area in my daily routine.

Aside from the fact that it has added quality time together to have a casual talk about anything.  Just last night, he saw me running till I get into his car with my laptop still opened.  When I sat down, my attention has never been undisturbed.  I just continue typing.  He started sharing about his work and his officemates.  Sometimes I overheard what he was telling, leaving a “No Reaction” on me.  Or at one point, I took the effort to reply with a word or two.

While on traffic, he said, “Ate, kwento ka naman.  Kwentuhan naman tayo.  Lagi ka na lang busy.”

It was his statement that hit me.  I turned it off and faced him.  I started sharing and we started laughing.  We care less whether we’re getting lost off the road.

There’s a lot to catch up.  These are the priceless conversations that our lives before had taken away from us for quite sometime.  He’s overly busy at getting a degree in Law while I’m equally busy at work.  My brother is my closest friend and I am his closest confidante. Our recent brainstorming is on how to save more whenever we decide to move here in Makati.  Enjoy more of our times together.  Even before, the presence of one another is enough, making us depend on each other, leaving us no room to find friends outside.

It’s the comfort brought by closely-knit family ties that makes my life worthy to be shared.  And it’s what my brother and I would like to do with the growing families-to-be.

Even in dreams

I am so focused at what I'm doing and too eager to populate it with what ought to be the proper content then suddenly, officemates come one after the other, asking, discussing, debating and just informing me of the status and the problems confronted during our test. 

I got tired of switching my focus on and off and admittedly, I can't concentrate on what I'm doing.  So I decide to take a nap.  I enjoyed it so much.  When I laid my head on the table, automatic sleep… as if someone fired a bullet and went straight to me.  I know that it wasn't just short.  It was a considerably longer than a nap.  My body still demands rest.

I was in a peaceful mood… only to be disturbed by my officemate telling me…

"Sheggz, bakit ka natulog, hinihintay kong maiupdate ung test cases… tutulugan mo naman ako."

Thought it was real.  So I immediately stood up.  Only to know that I was just dreaming hahaha.  My officemates inside the conference room are laughing when I told them about that.  That even in dreams, I was by Mark har har har.

Reason, Season and Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.  They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are there for the reason you need them to be. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. 

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.  They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done.  They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.  LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationshi ps and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.  Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
