New Year’s Resolution

For the purpose of making a good start for 2008, I enlist some of my consolidated toinkable New Year's Resolutions and Plans.

1.  I won't get married till the end of 2008.

2.  I would make early Christmas shopping for my godchildren, family and friends.

3.  I would minimize speaking bad words!

4.  I would try to be more patient and organized.

5.  Learn how to cook and bake.

6.  Less alcohol and more of H20.

7.  I would go island-hopping.

8.  Minimize sweets and chocolates.

9.  More sporty exercises!

10.Learn to play violin.

I expect that # 8 is the most violated resolution. Happy New Year!!!!

Thursday Man

Early this morning, I remembered KC and her Mom's advise to be at your best look always. 
My brother dropped me off a few steps away from the office.  Raindrops are still tolerable that I chose not to run fast to avoid it.  I cherish the raining moment, in short. It's relaxing to walk in the rain at 6:30am hehehehe.  My make-up wears off… thank you to water-proof mascara anyway…

While walking, I close my eyes to get a few short naps.  I have memorized the steps till I get to the Guard's Desk and have my biggie bag checked until I reached my desk hehehehe.  So raining moment becomes sleeping moment.. when I heard a man's voice.

"Mababasa ka sa ulan."

That line never bothered me.  My eyes were still closed.

"Miss, maganda ka kapag naglalakad ng tulog."

It slowly opened my eyes and I replied… "Sabi nga ng Nanay ko." [without looking at the man]

I stepped up and glanced at the man…. Weh! Chinito… muntik muntikanan ko nang yayaing magbreakfast hehehehe

My world stopped for a couple minutes when I heard Regina Spektor's song entitled… "I Loved You First…"

I quickly typed-in and found the lyrics. I read it once but two lines are repeatedly playing in my mind.. "You are my sweetest downfall.. I loved you first… I loved you first.."

It made me smile again.  I remembered one chubby good-looking guy wearing khaki walking shorts and white loose shirt who was introduced to me.  Enrollment day… that I reassured myself..

READ THIS FIRST: This is a companion to my "You Oughta Know" video, which I recommend to watch first. This is another AU this time through Izzie's POV.
The story goes that Izzie sees the moment that Alex and Addi have and questions George about it. He tells her that they were together for a while. She's a little upset about it, but tries not to show it to Alex. She also intentionally flirts with him in front of Addi. Izzie asks Addi if there is still something between her and Alex, but Addi responds with "Don't worry about it."
Then on a date Alex hesitates to kiss Izzie (guess which clips I used for that! ). She yells at him the next day in the on-call room for not telling her about Addi. He stops her before she goes out and tells her "There's nothing there." Still convinced that they are into each other, Izzie goes to Addi and yells at her for lying at her.
A few weeks later: Alex and Addison get in a fight in front of Izzie. When Izzie chases down Alex to ask him about it he kisses her and (after like a 2 second consideration) they are back together!

7.  Lagi akong may notebook para sa pangalan ng inaanak at edad.
8.  Pag ako ang nakahagip ng lata ni Lola na lalagyan ng coins, swerte ang mamasko sa akin dahil hindi lang piso ang bigay ko kundi dos hahaha
9.  Ako ang taga-prito ng ham sa umagang-umaga.
10.Si Ate Imee ang unang bisita sa bahay at lagi na lang bagong gising ako pag dumarating cia.

Isa na marahil sa nagpasaya ng Pasko 2007 ko ay ang mga nagsidatingan kong mga kaibigan mula sa malalayong lupalop ng Dubai at Singapore.  Ang bilis talaga ng panahon.  Kung kelan lang halos pinipigil-pigilan ko ang mata kong umiyak nung nagba-babay kami kay Athan aba'y akalain mong andito na ulit sa Pinas para iuwi ang Camel kong may Dubai accent nang.. "Gurang na.. Gurang na.." hahahaha  Tapos itong si Iset, para pa din kaming dati na hindi maputol-putol ang kwentuhan at tawanan… kami pa rin ang walang kasinglupit sa hagikhikan at galaan hahahaha

Namiss ko ang Tagaytay actually dahil sila ang kasa-kasama ko lagi pumunta dun, para magkape, makikain at maki-ihi sa cr sa sobrang lamig.

At masaya ako na sa sandali ng pagkakahiwa-hiwalay ng konti, ang magandang buhay sa kanilang pagbalik ay isang magandang pakunswelo na okay lang kahit hindi muna tayo nagkita-kita basta.. maayos kayo at may pasalubong kayo sa akin hahahaha

Para sa maraming dahilan na dapat akong maging masaya at mapagpasalamat…. Thank you, Lord at buong-buo pa rin kaming lahat… Kitakits ulit kami sa mga susunod pang Pasko…
