Bonding muna
December 6, 2007For my brother, he thinks that I am a worst dresser. For I dress for the sake of wearing something and not doing something to dress up!
Just last night, he brought me to a a cheaper corner of Powerplant for me to feel (daw) that I should doubly change the fashion sense that I have (if there is.. hehehe)
We visited several stalls. He is still the usual bro that I know, very picky on polo shirts. We toured around to find some new picks.
Oh well, that's not the meat of my blog hahaha
On our way home while he was busy driving, he shared his sentiments about his "dream girl" and the risky thing about courting her… blah blah blah… and he ends up saying…
"I can always court her and I know with sincerity and true intentions, I can definitely win her heart… but right now, since it's costly to court her… I intend to save something and enjoy the fruits of my labor for now…. blah blah blah!"
And I was touched when he said this…
"Pamilya muna, Ate. Gusto ko yung bonding-bonding naman tayo."
I tend to be quiet for how many minutes because I share the same dreams, too. We were too busy fulfilling the dreams we want for ourselves… being overly caught up with work to earn [not save hehehe] and we missed the golden opportunity to enjoy life with my family. And that physiological need must be fulfilled, because I feel it will do good for your "inner" self…
Treat your life with the best things with them…
The Best Smile I know
If I thought that a smile of mine, might linger the whole day through and lighten some heart with a heavier part, I'd not withhold it — Would you?
- AnonymousEveryone who knows me by heart can instantly agree that my smile is one of my valuable daily wearables wherever I go. I was looking at my old pictures, even those that I wasn't wearing anything at all because I was just a baby then, that cheerful smile has always been my trademark. Unconsciously, it makes the other person who receives it feel at home with your presence. That's the realization that went through my mind after long years of doing that smiling exercise.
Sometimes your smile means a world to others without you knowing it. It sets everything straight.
My most unforgettable experience is when I smile and no one sees it. It's the deepest seat of your emotions that makes you smile sincerely. When you're happy about yourself and how things are going, a smile is a gift you give yourself. A gift for all the struggles you've won over and all the trying times you made yourself undefeated.
Don't smile when you don't feel like smiling… Smile when you think it is necessary and when you feel good about yourself…. You share the radiance with the world… It's as if you're telling the universe…
"May my happy disposition be with you always!
