Wheel of Fortune naman

May kung ano sa Monday na ito na hindi ko mawari kung ano.  Maraming seryoso sa deadline, may nagsisigawan sa daga, may maiingay sa gitna ng kwarto… samantalang ako, pasayaw-sayaw sa upuan ko habang suot-suot ang earphones at pakanta-kanta sa "Akin ka na Lang ng Itchyworms".  Kaninang umaga ko pa napapansin na parang mejo kakaiba nga yata ako sa mga nakikita ko.  Madami din akong gagawin, pero hindi ko alam kung bakit ang "gaan gaan ng 8:00am ko".

Maganda marahil ang nangyari sa akin ng weekend.  Puyat man ako pero talagang ung negative thoughts, nairelease ko.  Laking pasasalamat ko sa mga taong nakasama ko at sa mga alak na nalaklak ko ng araw at gabing iyon.

Hmm… makasali nga sa Wheel of Fortune hehehe

To Win

Last Sunday morning, I was confiding to a friend.  We were so serious at trying out flag football on Saturday.  I remembered telling her… "Alam mo, Meds… noong bata ako.. ke babae kong tao pero anlikot ko sa field.  Panalo lagi ang team ko pag hagaran-suguran.  Anlikot ko grabe… May isang partner ako.. si Toti.. na para kaming kiti-kiti.  At kaya gusto kong sumali ng flag football, gusto kong makita ko ulit ang sarili ko sa lugar na halos "bahay" na sa akin… ang laruan.  Idol ko nga dati si Jaworski sa pambabalya na parang wala lang hehehe.  At kaya ako napagkakamalang lalaki eh dahil pag nasa ganoong sitwasyon, kilos lalaki talaga ako.  Hindi kailangan ang kilos babae sa ganong pagkakataon diba?  Hindi ako marunong maglaro ng flag football, pero lalaro ako.  Kelangan kong gawin para sa sarili ko."

"I don’t know why I’m having a strange feeling that I need to win lately.  I need to compete.  I need to compete and win. And if I won’t be scared of trying it now, I know I would win.  If there’s one perfect time for that, I feel I should not miss competing now.  It’s all or nothing."

It came out of my lips so unexpectedly.  A spur of the moment, I should say.  But the feeling still resides.  It’s still within me.  And it’s moving me.  I don’t know why.

Prize is secondary.  But what would make it a lot worthwhile is to have the courage to compete.  This is what I need.  I don’t know if it’s into sports or into music… but in any way I can, I should do it.

The passion is driving me to win… help me God!

Send it to yourself

If you’re hooked into e-mail, you’d probably be familiar with forwarded messages having this “send it back to me” on the subject or at the end of the line.

Grr!  It’s something that pissed me off instantly.  Why the hell you send it to me then you’ll expect me to send it back to you? First and foremost, what’s the cause of sending it?  You’re disturbing me!!!

Honestly, it’s something that irritates me a lot.  Even it comes from a friend, I hardly read it.  I treat it as SPAM. 

Having it restated in another way… “Here’s a piece of chocolate.  Bite it.  If you’re through, give it back to me and I’ll take a bite of it!”    Why not bite it first?

To those who invent this, send yourself to the big manhole.

Gusto ko na ngang maniwalang pambihira minsan ang pagkawala ko sa mundong earth.  Nagulat na lang ako na maingay sa office kani-kanina lang morning.  Agad kong binago ang status msg ko at gladly, may nagreact agad.  Si Trina.  Isang dipa lang ang layo sa akin ng pinangyarihan ng krimen.

Hala!  Dahil pala daw sa malaking daga na nagpagala-gala sa lugar ng aming mga big bossing kaya nagkagulo hehehe.  At panalo!  Nananalangin silang mahuli ang malaking mickey mouse sa pamamagitan ng Fly Trap!  Kamusta naman yun.. langgam lang mahuhuli ninyo mga totoy!  At ang kaso, hindi pa nahuhuli ang salarin.  Sa kasalukuyan ay roving pa rin ang dagang ito.

Hahahaha

At ang nakakatawa, super delayed na pala ang reaction ko… super kakaiba.  nagreact ako sa mga after shock at ni hindi man lang ako nagulantang sa mas malaking ingay kani-kanina lang.

Asan ba ako ?  Hinahanap na kaya ako ni Mickey Mouse?

Pringles Fun

Last Saturday afternoon, just before I went to Kyusee, I was able to finish my piece for Pringles U Pop songwriting contest.  One of the few moments that I enjoyed a very casual lyrics-writing and song conceptualization and glad that my moods made it too easy for me to complete it.

Thanks to my Mongol pencil and a crampled scratch paper and a few tap on the table inside the CR and gotcha!  One Pringles Fun is born! Thanks Meds for the comments, I’ll have it deleted!

Only two weeks left to do all of these. I am courting my officemates to sing it for me…  I’ll post it here as soon as it’s finished.

Whatta fun!

It was good to see my very bestfriend Besku again after long months that we have relied so much on ym and email and not seeing each other.  Whatta good way to really start talking is to have full meals in front hahahaha.

Besku is my “Ate Ate” eversince.  One whose patience extends a hundredfold to accommodate her lil sis in me hehehe.  It takes a lot of guts, isn’t it? Hahaha

Then came 2 rounds of pa-morningan moments with two different groups last weekend.  All to de-stress and unwind.  What’s the best way to discuss problems at work… is to have your officemates in one Jose Cuervo bonding.  Few shots of it made me pour out my long kept sentiments hahahaha

Panalo si Cuervo!  Napaiyak ako! 

But it was all worth it.  It made me breathe well. 

Then came Coors Light session with Meds a day after in Kyusee.  A very light yet engaging conversation took us 7 hours at most hehehe.  Meds has become one of my newest ka-bonding… whew!  Goodluck sa Flag Football ha?

Well it’s the pouring out that made my heart lighter.  I needed that so much for I’ve been having difficulty expressing it out.

Big Birthday Party

I joined some friends in a surprise and intimate birthday party for Panky last Saturday night.  It was fun!  I enjoyed eating a lot hehehe.  Grabeh!  It was my first time really to bond with them and great to see Panky back!

It’s fun to remember just how this Big Performer glued me to my seat when I heard her performed onstage.  She is incredibly great and her talent and power as rockista is twice her built.   Always been misunderstood by people who hardly know her.  Tsk Tsk Tsk…

And in her comeback, another proof to claim that "Nobody can put a good rakista down!"
