Virtual Connection…

In most of the job interviews I had, interviewers constantly ask about how I manage stress at work.  No matter how the question had been constructed, I will always have one and only definite answer, "Music".  Music can always turn a good or bad mood everywhere I go.  It brings me right into the very seat of the world where the songwriter attempts to bring the listener in and feel the emotions attached to the melody and rhythm… that when I go back to the real world, i’d almost forgot the last time I was in… so unconsciously I tend to forget why I’ve been stressed hehehe.  I am aware that sometimes my answer will cause them to think that I’m a lil weird but that’s how can I just describe the feeling that merely listening to music brings me.  There was a time that I was accepted at work with the way I answer through Music…. "i put my heart into every song I hear, just how I put myself into every work I’m assigned with…" *wishful thinking sometimes*  
My close friends can always pinpoint how I’m feeling with the kind of music attached to every blog I post… music and my life have always been "virtually connected".

Quickly Passing…

Something happened that made me appreciate what the song “One Hello” means.  I’m reading it line by line and a lot of thoughts and considerations are coming in mind… each quickly passing and staying for a second and then leaves.  A few lines made me teary-eyed while the remaining leave an ample room for strength, faith, love and self-esteem.  Despite the love, insecurity could just make it all insignificant.  *sigh*  You made me choose the path I’m heading.

The first time I saw the trailer of "When Love Begins" of Aga Muhlach and Anne Curtis and heard Gary Valenciano’s rendition of the song "One Hello", I fell in love once again with the song and just how Gary V. sung it, and the storyline.  I love it more when it’s Gary singing the movie themesong.  His voice add romance to the story.  Again, Gary won my heart everytime I hear this song… This is one song that I constantly sing everytime I’m alone…
For all beginning has its ending and sometimes, endings to begin again, must start with one hello There shall never be bitter endings… *naks! in love*

The Island

For first-time traveler to Subic, every inch of memory is worth-keeping.  The ferry ride to Grande Island and the first step out of the ferry and seeing the clear blue waters and the perfect mountain view heighten the excitement more.  But there’s one thing I missed out bringing, my “The Island” cd..   

Unforgettable Moments:

1. Snorkeling that made me see 3 Nemos (Thanks Renz, Mark and Len) and the many sea creatures unfamiliar to me.
2. The serious fright I felt when I lost the snorkel stopper hehehe
3. First “ouch!” encounter with the sea urchin.
4. First fall and loud scream at the banana boat ride.
5. The mini-trekking with the snorkeling group.
6. Unexpected fall at the pool courtesy of Mark.
7. First successful floating attempt at the pool hehehe
8. The Sheggydi smiles harharhar

I was just about to give a glass of Shakers to Mark who at that time was standing at the pool.  Caught unguarded of possible tricks, I found myself fighting so hard not to be pulled off to the pool but Mark was stronger than me.  *Plunge!* Hush Hush*  Thanks to Lottie for teaching me how to float, to Mae, Shem, and the rest of the gang for the "kulitan and wengweng moments".

But aside from conquering the fears in water, there’s one moment that I can never forget, one relaxing time that I enjoyed just looking at the beach and the mountains alone.  No conversations, no laughters, freer mind, just a looooong  silence.  It was one relaxing moment that I would want to experience over and over again.  It’s as if I don’t wanna go back to Manila.  It made me think seriously about things, people and events hehehe.  I love it here…  I left my heart at the heart of the sea… Take full responsibility towards your actions and your decisions.  

when love appears over the horizon

I was thinking to spend the night alone at the room to rest, but when I heard there’s a band playing, I get up quickly… It relaxes me to hear a feel-good music by the pool.  When I opened the door, I noticed the full moon and the light emitted by it guides us towards the venue.  I asked for a sign.. "if i hear that song again now… it’s one clear sign that there’s really something that’s bugging us both."  I sat down and started to get food for dinner.  The band started playing old corny songs hehehe. 
I was just starting my dinner when I heard the intro… my officemates noticed the smile on my face… they kept on teasing me… it’s just that my reaction towards the song can no longer be kept hidden.  I was having a few good laughs inside.  It was as if my heart and my mind are conversing and teasing each other, too.   "Yun na! Hahahaha"  I glanced at the full moon and said "Loko ka!  Ambilis naman nung sign, kakaupo ko lang hehehehe"
What’s behind the song "Love moves in mysterious ways" that made me smile? Will it make me really smile? Will this make the person smile, too? Hmm… hehehehe

Will this be the start of something happier than expected? It’s scary but it’s a mystery hehehe

Turn-over

One great bonding moment happened in Metrowalk with my former officemates in QC.  I was surprised to see that almost the 13 who came were no longer connected with that company.  And you’ll see just how happy we are with the decision to move out. Get ready for the x-jimac outing!

I’m sure, my friends will understand where I’m coming from. I certainly wouldn’t want acceptance to be abrupt, I would just like to be understood in some ways for now.  Caught in between love, friendship and weighing things.  Love ninyo naman ako diba? *wink!*
